What a brilliant British pub. As soon as we walked in you were made to feel welcome. Fantastic landlady and landlord. Great customer service. Nathan was a excellent bar man. Even remembered what I drank from going in there earlier in the day! We had a excellent night with live music. Thankyou to everyone there xx

Great Lunch

Great little pub in the centre of town. We had lunch and a pint and could not fault it one bit ( especially the chips!). We had two meals for a tender and enjoyed them both. Nice quiet pub, that's spotless and clean.

Great Pub, Great Beer, Great Food

Had a couple of meals in this pub and food is always very good, there is always a good range of real ales, if you don't like real ale the pub has the usual lagers and stouts. Staff very friendly as well. All in all great place.

Excellently run local pub in the centre of Worcester. Top class Ales and Cider, excellent food, warm welcome guaranteed by the friendly management and staff. Handy for local county cricket, race course and all central shops. 200 yards to the bus stop, 400 yards to the railway station. A must see place and experience when in central Worcester.

Had two main meals for £9 here. Food was fantastic and great value. Wonderful atmosphere at this pub and a real diamond in the rough. Has a real country pub friendly feel even though it is in the city centre.Would definitely recommend a visit for any ale drinkers or anyone looking for a great proper pub meal. :)

My first visit to this fine public house was in 2010 and immediately felt at home. Since then I visit whenever I am in Worcester on business ( 2/3 times a year ) and always receive a warm welcome. The pub has recently undergone a tasteful refurbishment with a new menu and a new carpet! Aiden and Alison are excellent hosts and their staff always are friendly and helpful. There is a fine selection of beers and the food is excellent and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend a visit to this traditional and friendly public house if you visit this lovely Cathedral City.

me and my partner last visited this pub nearly 12 months ago and had heard that it had recently been taken over,as we walked through the door the changes were obvious, clean, tidy and as for the clientele we had previously come across it all seemed very relaxed and a lot more friendly, the staff were polite and my pint of cask bitter was excellent, me and my partner decided to stay for lunch and two main meals for £8.00 was fantastic value for money, its clear to see that this pub is on the up,the staff mentioned to us that it is due a refurbishment,it wont be long before this pub will be the place to be,we will be back!!!!!!!
